Curiosity sparked by an identity crisis

As an only child born and raised in San Jose, California to Filipino immigrant parents, finding a balance between modern and traditional values made for a unique life experience.

From my teen years to my early twenties, I struggled with my identity. It was frustrating, terrifying, and at times … depressing. This identity crisis led me to travel the world and experiment with hobbies, figuring out what I love and bonding with people who had struggles of their own.

My struggle became my strength and combined with my hobbies, I developed a loved for products, and observing humans became a habit.
